Cooking with CRS – Homemade Hummus

Ingredients:ย 
2 cups canned chickpeasย 
Juice of 2 lemonsย 
1 tsp saltย 
ยผ tsp cuminย 
3 Tbsps tahini pasteย 
2 garlic cloves, mashedย 
2-3 Tbsps oilย 
Parsley (for garnish)ย 

Directions:
ยท Place all the ingredients in a food processor or blender; mix until chickpeas are smooth.ย 
ยท Refrigerate hummus in a covered container.ย 
ยท Serve well-chilled, with chopped parsley on top. You can reserve ยผ cup unmashed chickpeas to sprinkle on top and add more garlic, too.ย 
ยท Now youโ€™re all set to serve it with that delish warm pita!
