Chamber Music: Celebrating the 175th

Welcome to a new season of Chamber Music at Rodeph Sholom.  CMRS will open its 11th season on November 10th celebrating the 175th Anniversary of Rodeph Sholom by focusing on the music of Jewish composers around the year of its founding, 1842, including works of Offenbach, Mendelssohn, Gottchalk, Schumann and Novacek.  We are featuring the incredible pianist, John Novacek and the other musicians for this concert are: Susan Rotholz, flute, Michael Roth, violin and Eliot Bailen, cello.

Led by Artistic Director Eliot Bailen, Chamber Music at Rodeph Sholom presents classical and modern chamber music and explores the diversity and many dimensions of Jewish music within the repertory.  Bringing music to life for a community of all ages and experiences is central to Chamber Music at Rodeph Sholom’s mission.
