Fri, Dec 5, 2014 • 4:30 PM5:30 PM

Loss and adversity are universal, but so, too, is hope. Join award-winning author and speaker Nancy Sharp in an engaging conversation about faith and storytelling. Embrace the dualities of joy and sorrow, health and illness, certainty and uncertainty, life and death — and learn how to write the story you want to live. Nancy Sharp is the author of Both Sides Now: A True Story of Love, Loss, and Bold Living

About the author: Nancy Sharp is an author, keynote speaker and storyteller who frequently talks to large groups about transformation and BOLD living. She is a Huffington Post blogger and has been published in Dr. Oz: The Good Life, Woman’s Day, and numerous other print and online media. She holds a MFA in Creative Nonfiction from Goucher College. Nancy and her first husband Brett Zickerman lived in neighboring towns in Connecticut, having first met at Congregation B’nai Israel in Bridgeport. Both Sides Now is set in Connecticut and New York until the latter part of the story that takes Nancy and her twins to Denver, Colorado. Here, Nancy plucks a TV News Anchor, also widowed with two children, straight from a magazine. Today, she and her husband Steve Saunders live in Denver with their four children ages thirteen through twenty-three.
